This resilience package involves the latest evidence-based protocols for improving both cognitive and physical functioning. I am happy to offer two resilience packages for the winners, selected entries.

Contrast therapy, as it’s officially known, is when heat and cold are combined. These practices and their benefits have been well known for centuries throughout the climates of northern and eastern europe, especially Scandinavia. The evidence and science have now caught up with these age-old traditions. Additionally when you combine contrast therapy with breathwork & mindfulness practices this incredible trifecta becomes a health and wellness powerhouse. The Awareness Academy can bring this package to your doorstep also.
About the packages: Package 1: Workplace Resilience Package: Sauna, Ice Plunge and Resilience Package. Package 2: 1 x 3 hour mental health and resilience workshop Step into a world of relaxation and rejuvenation with the Awareness Academy and the Sauna Collective's innovative workplace resilience package. Our state-of-the-art saunas provide a sanctuary for your team to unwind, destress, and recharge their batteries. We offer the perfect backdrop for cultivating resilience and mental well-being. Package Highlights: Sauna Sessions: Experience the healing power of heat therapy in our premium saunas. Sweating it out in the sauna helps to detoxify the body, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension. Our infrared saunas offer a gentle, soothing heat that penetrates deep into the muscles, promoting relaxation and stress relief. Ice Plunge: Take the plunge into our invigorating ice bath for an instant boost of energy and vitality. The contrast between hot and cold stimulates circulation, boosts the immune system, and enhances mental clarity. Dive into the icy waters and emerge feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle any challenge. Breathwork, mindfulness, practices: Learn how rhythmic breathing and focused attention mindfulness helps to calm the mind, reduce anxiety and prepare the body for optimum benefits from the sauna, ice plunge experience. Delivery of the package: Onsite only: The sauna and ice plunge will be bought to your location of choice. The sauna has two compartments designed for your comfort and required capability. One is hot, at the recommended temperature. The other is slightly cooler so to offer comfort for whatever suits requirements. Ice plunge – The same as the sauna. Three ice plunges will be available for any personal requirements. Clothing: swim wear or gym wear. Whatever feels comfortable. Fully covered is also fine. Duration of event: 3 hours total for 50 people – 6 hours for 100 people. This being a travel time in any direction within 1.5 hours from Auckland city center. Package 2: 1 x 3-hour mental health and resilience workshop This course will help to equip participants with skills and strategies to cope with stress, triggers, uncertainty & change. There is a facilitated process that brings awareness to internal triggers, stressors that are either in or outside of our control. This essential learning will help the team get clarity around what to focus on and put mental energy into that is in our control. Conversely what we can let go of is outside of our control. An ancient quote summarizes this well. “if you can do something about it, then why worry?" “If you can't do something about it, then why worry?" I will also provide insight into how to identify triggers early, and how to defuse the situation once it has occurred. Understanding the mind, emotions, and psychology again. There will be three new breathwork practices, and one mindfulness/meditation included in this course. The sessions, especially in person, will be interactive, engaging, and fun. A team building aspect as all the team will be involved. This really helps to reduce symptoms of worry and stress in and of itself. It’s such a powerful part in the “resilience” and “acceptance” piece. Here are the key topics covered in this package: • How to build awareness around “whats in or outside of our control”. • How to manage stress and anxiety around “out of control” situations. Build more focus around what we can control, what we can’t. • Understanding the mind and emotions - what is stress and what are stress triggers. • How to deal with uncertainty and change – creating new habits for positive change. • How to create a positive mindset. Build motivation. • Build awareness around “above the line” & “below the line”. Accountability over blame. Acceptance over frustration. Engagement as opposed to disengagement etc. • Breathwork and breathing practice - to reduce worry, stress and overwhelm. Package details, delivery: This resilience package can be delivered either onsite or online. A hybrid option is also available. We can stream live to other offices, from the one. Both courses are complemented by guided mindfulness and focus practices. Participants will also receive articles, reading materials, and coursework to delve into following on from the session. After which a follow-up email summary will be provided, and participants will also receive a monthly resilience planner. To note both packages will have a team building experience, engaging your team in a shared experience that fosters connection, collaboration, and camaraderie.
