How to Use a Sauna: 5 Easy points to remember 
 

  • Hydrate your body by drinking plenty of water before entering the sauna. This helps prevent dehydration during your session.

  • Take a shower to cleanse your body and remove any lotions or oils that could interfere with the sauna experience.

  • Remove any jewelry or accessories that may become hot or uncomfortable during your time in the sauna.

  • Must use a towel to sit on or lay on, as sauna benches can get hot. It also helps absorb sweat and provides a barrier between your skin and the wood.

  • Listen to your body : Don't be a hero! .... the benefits come from consistant regular , mutilple round sessions of heating your body up and letting it cool down properly then repeating ....Not cooking yourself .

  1. Is the mobile sauna available every day?  Yes, we are open seven days a week.

  2. What are the operating hours? We are open from 7am to 9pm.
  3. Where is the mobile sauna located? It is beachfront near public toilets and change rooms. Click here to see all locations 
  4. Do I need to bring my own towel? Yes, please bring your own towel.
  5. Can I hire a towel instead? Yes, towel hire is available for a fee.
  6. Can I bring my own water? Yes, you can bring your own water.
  7. Can I purchase water at the station? Yes, water is available for purchase.
  8. How much does towel hire cost? Towel hire costs vary, options given when you book online or when you get to the station.
  9. Is there a fee to enter the mobile sauna? Please contact the station for information on fees. Click here to see all pricing options 
  10. Can I use the mobile sauna without reservation? Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome.
  11. Is cold plunge therapy available? Yes, we offer cold plunge therapy depending on the session package you select.
  12. Are there changing facilities at the station? Yes, we have change rooms available.
  13. Are the public toilets nearby? Yes, the public toilets are located nearby.
  14. Can I use the sauna if I have a medical condition? Please consult with your healthcare provider before using the sauna or call us for clearer guidence 
  15. Is there a minimum age requirement? Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  16. Are there separate areas for men and women? Please inquire at the station for specific arrangements because we have two saunas  & we do allocate certain time periods for woman and men only. Groups can always book one privately if they wish. 
  17. Can I pay with credit card? Yes, we accept credit card payments.
  18. Are there discounts for frequent visitors? Yes, if you choose to become a member then you have various advantages and benefits depending on which level of membership you choose. Please inquire at the memberships in person at the stations to get the best guidence for your situation. 
  19. Can I book the mobile sauna for a private event? Yes, private bookings are available. Please contact us by phone, email or in person to secure. click here for details  
  20. Is the mobile sauna wheelchair accessible? No, however, if we can do anything to try and help someone who is super keen to get in the Sauna we will.
  21. How long is a typical sauna session? We recommend 10-20 minute rounds with a 5-10minute cool down between rounds for at least two rounds up to 6 rounds. 
  22. Are there any age restrictions for cold plunge therapy? Cold plunge therapy is generally suitable for adults. Click here to find out all the latest research on cold water therapy.
  23. Can I bring my own music to the sauna? Please inquire at the station for music policies, general rule is no, however if you have a few friends you could choose to book the Sauna as a private session which would allow you to play your own music. Sauna Collective would take no responsibility for any damage to your device.
  24. Are pets allowed in the sauna? No, pets are not allowed in the sauna, however you are more than welcome to bring you dog and tie up outside if you believe your dog will behave well.
  25. Is there a time limit for sauna usage? Your time limit depends on your booking either , 40 minute, 75 minute or 150 minute. 
  26. Is the mobile sauna open during holidays? Yes, we are open on holidays, unless otherwise specified.
  27. Can I purchase sauna-related products at the station? Please inquire at the station for available products. If you are interested in what to buy a sauna lover check out this post 
  28. Are there shower facilities available? Please inquire at the station for shower facilities, each location has been selected for close proximity to public toilets and showers.
  29. Can I bring my own snacks to the sauna? No food allowed, only water and towels in the saunas.
